The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, supplies, and services required for manufacturing operations. This role ensures timely availability of quality raw materials and other items needed for production while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery time, and reliability.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to achieve cost savings.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse/production team to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
  • Maintain and update supplier database, price lists, and purchasing records.
  • Ensure timely delivery of purchased items and follow up with suppliers for pending orders.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding invoices, payments, and supplier accounts.
  • Assist in vendor accreditation and maintain compliance with quality standards and company requirements.
  • Provide support in preparing reports on purchase activities, cost analysis, and market trends.
  • Participate in audits and ensure proper documentation of all purchasing transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, negotiation skills, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent is an advantage).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with regular coordination with warehouse and production areas.
  • May require occasional supplier site visits.
  • Willing to work from Monday-Saturday in General Trias, Cavite office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
