Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager (Data) to oversee critical data-driven projects with precision, accountability, and strong communication. You will bridge the gap between U.S.-based counterparts and our Philippine data teams, ensuring smooth workflows, accurate outputs, and timely delivery. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives under pressure, anticipates challenges, and drives solutions that support both operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

As a Project Manager (Data), you will manage and deliver projects that align with company goals. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, monitor progress, resolve challenges, and lead teams to success. Your role will also involve process improvement, performance management, and effective stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of data projects.
  • Coordinate with other Data team managers for seamless handoffs.
  • Monitor timelines, manage workload distribution, and escalate risks proactively.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality and compliance standards before submission.
  • Act as the primary liaison with U.S. project managers for updates, clarifications, and escalations.
  • Anticipate resource and staffing gaps, including holiday coverage and urgent requests.
  • Provide status updates on milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Establish and improve project lifecycle practices, templates, and documentation standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation (plans, reports, meeting notes).
  • Report on project success metrics and deployment of key initiatives.
  • Align project objectives with business strategies and goals.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing environment and mentor team members.
  • Oversee performance, attendance, and departmental goals.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and initiate improvement plans.
  • Support hiring by interviewing and evaluating applicants.
  • Enforce company policies and apply disciplinary actions when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven project management or leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with project tracking tools preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
  • Skilled in risk management, stakeholder communication, and resource planning.
  • Experience managing night shift teams is a plus.
  • PMP or other project management certification is an advantage (not required).
