Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, creating, and executing digital marketing strategies for a group of small startup businesses. The role focuses on increasing brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation through content creation, short-form videos (Reels), and social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management

  • Manage and grow social media accounts for multiple startup brands
  • Handle daily postings on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Monitor messages, comments, and basic customer inquiries
  • Ensure consistent branding across all platforms

Content Creation & Reels

  • Create engaging short-form videos (Reels) for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Edit marketing videos, reels, and basic promotional clips
  • Plan creative concepts aligned with each brand's goals
  • Stay updated on social media trends, sounds, and formats

Graphic Design & Ads

  • Create social media graphics, posters, and ad creatives using Canva
  • Design promotional materials for campaigns, events, and announcements
  • Assist in creating paid ad visuals and captions (boosted posts & ads)

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop monthly marketing strategies and content calendars
  • Create posting schedules for each brand
  • Align marketing activities with business goals and promotions
  • Suggest creative ideas to increase reach, engagement, and conversions

Campaign Execution & Performance Tracking

  • Assist in launching and managing marketing campaigns
  • Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and views
  • Prepare simple reports and recommendations for improvement
  • Optimize content based on analytics and audience behavior

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with business owners, operations, and creative teams
  • Coordinate marketing needs across multiple startup brands
  • Ensure deadlines and content schedules are followed

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Marketing, Business, Communications, or related course
  • With or without experience (experience is an advantage)
  • Knowledgeable in Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok marketing
  • Skilled in Canva and basic video editing tools
  • Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple brands and tasks efficiently
  • Willing to learn, adapt, and work in a startup environment
