Job Description:

The Closed Van Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the dispatch and movement of closed vans. The role involves managing schedules, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication with drivers, helpers and clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management: Plan and coordinate the schedules for closed van dispatches to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers, clients, and other relevant parties to provide updates and address any issues.
  • Route Planning: Develop efficient routes for drivers to minimize delays and optimize delivery times.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate dispatch documents, including bills of lading, receipts, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during dispatch, such as delays, breakdowns, or rerouting needs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all dispatch activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of dispatch activities, driver assignments, and communication logs.
