About the Role
We've recently moved into a 3-bedroom apartment in Málaga, Spain and are looking to work with a remote interior designer who can help us decorate and furnish our home. This will be an ongoing role — but we want to start with a paid trial task to see who's the best fit.

We're not experienced in interior design, so we're looking for someone who can guide us step by step and create a warm, functional, and stylish home that reflects our personality.

Trial Task – Living Room Layout & Style Proposal
As a first step, we'd like you to:

Review the layout and dimensions of our open-plan L-shaped living room

Submit your concept design (layout suggestion style ideas)

Include furniture or decor suggestions (with links if possible)

Help us imagine how the space could be zoned, styled, and lived in

The winner of this trial task will receive $50 USD, and we'll then hire them for ongoing work to help design the rest of the home (including bedrooms, office, dining space, etc.)

Our Style
We're drawn to a bohemian and maximalist aesthetic — layered textures, rich colours, and a relaxed, soulful vibe. We want the space to feel inviting, creative, and personal. We also love a bit of practicality: smart storage, functional zones, and online-shopping-friendly suggestions.
Your Role (If Hired Long-Term)
If selected, you'll:

Help us design the rest of the apartment (room by room)

Create room layouts and concept boards

Suggest furniture/decor (with online links to buy)

Help us visualise ideas through sketches or renderings

Provide online shopping support and product sourcing

Offer feedback and ideas as we build our home
