Job Description:

  • Assure and manage the efficiency of the Underwriting Operations
  • Assure that all business/underwriting process is within the approved company guidelines
  • Assure that all the reports and requirement by Government Agencies (IC) are submitted within the prescribed time line.
  • Assure that all process, procedures and underwriting guidelines are reviewed and updated accordingly.
  • Assure that all rules, memorandum and regulation imposed by the Board of Directors and Management are well conveyed to his/her subordinates.
  • Assure that the strategies of the department are aligned with the company's goals/objective.
  • Provide underwriting reports to the top management if necessary.
  • Responsible for the continuous growth and development of his/her subordinates. Conduct training if deemed necessary.
  • Maintains good and professional relationship amongst members of the team.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Top Management.

Qualifications:

  • Advance knowledge in Non-Life Insurance
  • With at least 5-years of experience in non-life insurance underwriting. Knowledgeable in all lines of business and reinsurance transactions.
  • Can do or has experience in developing Underwriting Manual/Guidelines
  • Knowledgeable with the rules and regulations governing insurance business
  • Knowledgeable in Insurance System
  • With Strong Patience and can work under pressure
  • Good in verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable to use Microsoft Office Tools, Excel, Power Point, Word etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
