About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join our dynamic team at International Marketing Group in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time role will be responsible for providing critical administrative and marketing support to our international health insurance underwriting operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the underwriting team with policy administration, data entry, and processing of new business and renewals
  • Coordinate with clients and brokers to gather necessary information and documentation for underwriting
  • Provide marketing support by preparing presentations, drafting proposals, and maintaining client databases
  • Organise and maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure efficient records management
  • Liaise with internal departments to facilitate the smooth flow of information and workflows
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and partners

What we're looking for

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or marketing support role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
