The Centre for International Education Global Colleges, Inc. (CIE British School) - Makati Campus islooking for a JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER to teach the HISTORY SUBJECT.

Overall Function:

  • To teach and educate students according to guidelines provided by CIE British School, and under the overall guidance of the competent education authority and accrediting bodies; and,
  • To teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities, and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the Headmistress.

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder of Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) major in Social Studies or History
  • Candidates with a non-Education degree (e.g., AB History, AB Political Science) must possess a Certificate in Professional Teaching (CPT) or equivalent teaching units
  • At least one (1) year of relevant teaching experience, an advantage.
  • Preferably a Licensed Professional Teacher

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer-Savvy (proficiency in educational technology and virtual learning platforms)
  • Possesses transferable skills applicable to an educational setting (curriculum planning, assessment design)
  • Self-driven and able to work independently with initiative
  • Lively and patient with students, especially in engaging them with complex historical and social issues
  • Possesses a high level of maturity, initiative, and resourcefulness

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
