Job DescriptionThe Category Development Director will serve as a key business leader, driving the strategic direction and commercial success of the company's product categories across multiple markets. This role is critical in shaping the growth agenda, enhancing category performance, and ensuring that brand strategies are effectively translated into in-market execution that resonates with both consumers and trade partners. The ideal candidate will excel in fostering collaboration between cross-functional teams and leveraging data-driven insights to drive commercial excellence and innovation.

The role demands a sharp commercial acumen, the ability to anticipate market trends, and the agility to pivot strategies based on real-time performance and evolving consumer behavior. The Director will lead efforts to expand category growth, improve category share, and build strong relationships with retail and trade partners to secure optimal shelf space and visibility. The role will also be expected to drive performance improvements by applying best practices in commercial development, including pricing strategies, promotional efficiency, and trade execution excellence.

The Successful ApplicantProven track record of driving category growth and market share in highly competitive, fast-paced environments. Strong expertise in portfolio management, commercial strategy execution, and go-to-market strategies. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
