JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and resourceful Props / Production Assistant with experience in film production to support our multimedia projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing, organizing, and maintaining props, as well as providing general production support on set. You will work closely with directors, producers, art departments, and other crew members to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Props Duties:

  • Collaborate with the art director and production designer to identify prop needs for scenes.
  • Source, fabricate, rent, or purchase props according to script requirements and budget constraints.
  • Organize, label, and maintain inventory of props throughout the production cycle.
  • Ensure continuity of props between takes and shooting days.
  • Assist with the setup, placement, and breakdown of props on set.
  • Repair or touch up props as needed during filming.
  • Return rented or borrowed props post-production.

Production Assistant Duties:

  • Support various departments on set including camera, lighting, art, and wardrobe.
  • Assist with setup and teardown of equipment, sets, and locations.
  • Run errands such as picking up supplies, props, or meals.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized set environment.
  • Act as a runner for talent or crew as needed.
  • Manage on-set documentation and coordinate call sheets, if required.
  • Assist with crowd control or securing filming locations during shoots.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in film, TV, or digital media production.
  • Familiarity with prop sourcing, handling, and set etiquette.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • Basic knowledge of production equipment and workflow.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items.
