Boarding Officer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the ship's interest when in port on behalf of the company.
• Attends to Ship's Pre-arrival Meetings (SPAMs) and ensure proper documentation thereof.
• Ensure that all operational details, security details, and other military/mission-related to the port visit or related only to the actual operation.
• Negotiate and coordinate with the agency's concerns, and port authorities on behalf of the vessel and owner.
• Tendering vessel's arrival notices and berth application.
• Coordination with the service providers needed for the delivery of all line items in the LogReq.
• Proper coordination with the port and other agencies during the port visit including all auxiliary activities to minimize delays and expenses.
• Attending to vessel's logistical requirement while in port.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marine Transportation or Marine Engineering or any equivalent course related.
• Maritime background with at least 1 year of seagoing experience.
• With at least experience in port operations and/or port logistical operations (e.g. heavy lifts, break-bulk cargo, and cargo transport and forwarding).
• With at least experience in Navy Husbanding Services, Logistical Services for the Military and Military Exercises.
• Knowledgeable in Military Port Logistics works for different types and classes of Navy Vessels.

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month

• maritime / shipping industry: 2 years (Required)
• military port operations: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Professional driver's license (Preferred)
