Cebu2World Development Inc., a subsidiary of Megawide Corporation, is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to process payments, issue receipts, and support daily treasury and reporting requirements at the Carbon Market. Reporting to the Treasury Supervisor, this role will be agency-employed (third-party) and deployed to Cebu2World.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payments from customers and vendors (cash, checks, debit/credit cards, mobile wallets) accurately and on time; issue Official Receipts for every transaction.
  • Maintain, secure, and balance the cash drawer each shift; investigate and report discrepancies; submit required treasury reports.
  • Ensure the POS is operational; coordinate with the POS provider for troubleshooting and downtime recovery.
  • Prepare accurate daily summaries and support month-end activities (schedules/reports) used for financial statements, tax filings, and other business documents.
  • Collaborate with Accounting Assistants to reconcile abnormal balances and resolve variances promptly.
  • Uphold cash security controls and confidentiality of financial information.
  • Greet customers professionally; address inquiries and resolve concerns courteously; maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Raise impediments and improvement opportunities related to cashiering processes, documentation, and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any business-related course with at least 2 years' cashiering experience (market/retail/treasury experience is an advantage).
  • Strong mathematical skills and numerical accuracy.
  • High attention to detail and integrity; able to follow cash-handling SOPs without exception.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with POS/cash register systems.
  • Willing to work onsite at Carbon Market, Brgy. Ermita, Cebu City, with shifting schedules aligned to market operations.
  • Can start ASAP.

Employment arrangement: Hired and paid by a third-party manpower agency; deployed to Cebu2World for day-to-day supervision. Applicants will be processed through the designated partner agency for this role.
