Job Summary

We are seeking a well-organized and computer-literate Purchase Order Officer to join our Contract Management and Administration Team. In this role, you will provide data processing support to generate contracts by reviewing plans, specifications, and purchase orders to ensure that the correct materials, products, and services are accurately reflected and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently encode all purchase order data into the system for processing and management.
  • Review and verify that all entered data aligns with the original documentation or data source.
  • Maintain data entry standards by following established procedures and reporting any needed changes or improvements.
  • Safeguard company and client information by maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Purchase Order Officer Team by supporting related tasks and achieving departmental goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer use and data management systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thoroughness and accuracy in performing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
  • Experience in a similar role or data entry position is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) are required.
