We're looking for an Associate Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to join our GOCC Cloud Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to complete activities associated with providing the 24/7/365 operations required to maintain Manulife's infrastructure and IT services by identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing events and incidents and completing service requests and BAU tasks.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring infrastructure components on-premises and in the cloud, troubleshoots system operating problems and determine the cause of system interruptions

  • 1st Level support for issues related to infrastructure including IaaS and PaaS components

  • Performs system checks and basic maintenance plans

  • Assist Infrastructure/DevOps/Application Teams in creating and handling monitoring and troubleshooting tasks

  • Assist in the coordination and resolution of incidents

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years' experience in supporting applications in production environments running on Linux or Windows.

  • Knowledge in Incident Management and Problem Management

  • Relevant experience from working in DevOps organizations

  • Education: Must possess at least a bachelor's degree.

  • Work Arrangement: This position requires to work onsite.

  • Amenable to work in any shift assigned (mid/night/rotating); also flexible to work on holidays/weekends depending on business need.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification

  • Experience in Microsoft Azure

  • Experience in working with IaaS and PaaS in Microsoft Azure such as Managed SQL web apps, etc

  • Confident in engaging with other teams in joint troubleshooting

  • Professional with good communication skills
