Position Overview

The Outlet Cashier at City Garden Grand Hotel ensures accurate and efficient transactions at one or more hotel outlets, such as restaurants, bars, or retail shops. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to handle high volumes of transactions with accuracy and professionalism. As an essential point of guest interaction, the Outlet Cashier helps create a positive guest experience by delivering prompt and courteous service.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management

  • Process guest transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit card, and room charge payments.
  • Handle opening and closing cash procedures, maintaining an accurate cash float throughout each shift.
  • Apply any applicable discounts or loyalty program points as needed, following hotel policies.
  • Customer Service
  • Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with billing inquiries or other requests related to the transaction.
  • Address guest complaints or issues promptly, escalating to a supervisor if necessary.
  • Provide information about the hotel's offerings and promotions, suggesting items or services that enhance the guest's experience.
  • Billing & Financial Accuracy
  • Ensure correct pricing is applied to each transaction and that all items are accurately recorded.
  • Generate accurate receipts and ensure guests sign any required bills for room charges.
  • Conduct daily reconciliation of cash drawers and submit detailed reports as required by the finance department.
  • Point of Sale (POS) & Technology
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, handling all transactions with speed and accuracy.
  • Update or troubleshoot the POS system as needed, reporting technical issues to management or IT support.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest POS system functions and upgrades to maximize efficiency.
  • Inventory & Cash Handling
  • Track and report any discrepancies in cash drawers or inventory during each shift.
  • Assist in managing stock levels at the point of sale, coordinating with the inventory team if needed.
  • Follow all hotel policies regarding cash handling, balancing, and security protocols.
  • Team Collaboration & Support
  • Collaborate with servers, bartenders, or other outlet staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide training or support to new outlet cashiers or other staff on POS usage and transaction policies.
  • Act as a point of contact for team members with any billing or transaction-related questions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php19, Php20,000.00 per month
