Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate drilling rigs and heavy equipment in accordance with safety standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure proper maintenance of the rig and related equipment.
  • Monitor drilling operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with the site engineer and project team regarding drilling depth, alignment, and required adjustments.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, performing minor repairs when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of drilling activities and equipment usage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and securing drilling materials and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • At least a High School or Vocational Diploma in a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Rig Operator or in similar heavy equipment operations.
  • Strong understanding of rig mechanics, drilling methods, and safety protocols.
  • Physically fit and able to work in varying site conditions.
  • With valid driver's license and relevant operator certification (if required).
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
