Role Overview:

The Project Lead is responsible for guiding projects from initiation to completion. This includes developing project plans, defining objectives, and setting timelines. The Project Lead assigns tasks, monitors progress, and ensures effective resource allocation. Key duties involve managing project risks, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and resolving issues. The role also includes overseeing deliverables to meet quality standards, providing regular updates, managing scope changes, and conducting project closure activities.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:


• Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines

• Assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and ensure clarity on roles and responsibilities

• Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel and budget, to meet project requirements.

• Identify potential project risks and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them

• Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure alignment and informed decision-making

• Address any conflicts or issues that arise during the project lifecycle to maintain project momentum and resolve challenges promptly

• Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the original plan

• Manage changes to project scope or requirements, assessing their impact on timelines and resources

• Conduct thorough project closure activities, ensuring all deliverables are met, conducting post-project evaluations, and documenting lessons learned for future projects

Qualifications:


• Graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proven experience in project management functions and deliverables

• Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate with stakeholders

• Proficient in project management methodologies, including defining project scope, deliverables, and timelines

• Able to lead and inspire teams effectively with strong leadership skills

• Able to identify project risks and issues, and implement strategic solutions to mitigate them
