Job Title: Account Manager - Industrial and Process AutomationThe Account Manager for the Industrial and Process Automation industry will be responsible for managing and growing existing client accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial automation systems, process control technologies, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels of the customer organization. ResponsibilitiesAccount Management:Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing technical support. Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sector.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into long-term clients. Sales Strategy:Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company goals.
Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals and presentations. Negotiate contracts and pricing to close deals. Technical Expertise:Maintain thorough knowledge of automation products and solutions.
Provide technical consultations based on client needs. Stay updated on technological advancements and incorporate new solutions into sales strategies. Reporting and Analysis:Monitor sales performance and generate reports on key metrics.
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide feedback to product teams based on customer insights. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales in industrial automation preferred. Strong technical knowledge of automation systems and technologies.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing accounts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels, including C-Levels.
Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking. Additional DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior level
