PART TIME ROLE

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Salary: $8 AUD per hour

Hours: Part-Time

This role may move into full time hours so you must be flexible to move into full time when the client is ready for it to be a full time role

About the Role

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring all accounts are up to date.

You'll work closely with management to deliver clear financial reports that help drive informed business decisions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, and expense records
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records
  • Prepare and submit BAS reports and other compliance documentation (as required)
  • Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc reporting
  • Liaise with accountants and external financial partners

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (preferably for Australian businesses)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
