About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing Customs Brokerage team in Manila City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting our accounting processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for bookkeeping and a keen eye for accuracy.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and accounts payable and receivable
  2. Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
  3. Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
  4. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents
  5. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the integrity of financial records
  6. Provide administrative support as needed

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
  2. Experience in customs brokerage or import/export industry is preferred but not required
  3. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  6. Strong numerical and analytical skills
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Familiarity with tax preparation and reporting requirements
  9. Bachelor's degree is required for this position
