- Must successfully pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have at least one year of customer service experience or equivalent
- Demonstrated proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with social media, parcel delivery, marketplace sellers, vendors, or fraud operations is preferred.
- Understanding of Ecommerce and Marketplace operations is preferred.
- Experience with Customer facing systems like Zendesk, Kustomer, or Intercom is preferred.
- Knowledge of Collectibles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to empathize with buyers and sellers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Ability to learn new skills, systems, and processes quickly and adapt to changing needs.
- Ability to display decision making skills to consider all possible scenarios and options, and dynamically evolves approach as needed.
- Ability to problem-solve creatively and analytically using data and logic.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Essential Functions:
- Interact with buyers and sellers via email, chat, phone, or social media platforms to address their inquiries, issues, or feedback.
- Assess and resolve buyer and seller issues using a variety of systems, processes, and technology.
- Research and investigate new products, listings, sellers, and quality concerns to ensure compliance with the policies and standards.
- Work with other departments such as logistics, payments, fraud prevention, marketing, engineering, etc. to research and resolve open questions or escalate issues as needed.
- Collaborate with management to provide feedback and suggestions on how to improve systems and supply chain efficiency.
- Efficiently work through a backlog of open issues and monitor the performance of key operations using data and metrics.
- Make quick and financially sound decisions around inventory and customer satisfaction, following guidelines and best practices.
- Represent the company with integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
