JOB OVERVIEW:

Process all valid obligations and authorized expenditures of the company within and in accordance with the applicable standards for each type of transactions.

Perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  1. Accounts Payable

  2. Check all the Requests for Payment (RFP) to ensure validity of the transaction, accuracy of the computation and completeness of the supporting documents.

  3. Coordinate with the requestor and/or the vendor any corrections and clarifications on request for payment.
  4. Monitor due dates of each vendor accounts to ensure timely payments and to avoid service interruption.
  5. Process all the valid liquidations and reimbursements.
  6. Prepare voucher for approval on online payment.
  7. Process supplier's cheques and issue BIR 2307
  8. Post and update invoice and payment batch list in NetSuite
  9. Monitor all released cheques and online payments
  10. Maintain files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

  11. Tax/Audit Requirement

  12. Prepare quarterly Alphalist of Payees subjected to withholding tax.

  13. Assist in preparation of tax audit requirements.
  14. Assist in preparation of FS Audit Requirements.

  15. Report

  16. Monthly key-in and process closing entries in NetSuite pertaining to all Accounts Payables.

  17. Month-end closing Accounts Payable

  18. Others

  19. Maintain harmonious relationships between internal and external stakeholders

  20. Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor as may be deemed necessary.

REQUIREMENTS: (MUST HAVE)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science Major in Accountancy
  • At least one (1) year experience in Accounts Payable
  • Organizational Skills
  • Numerical and Analytical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications
  • Persuasive
  • Detailed-oriented
  • Knowledgeable in any Accounting system
  • Knowledgeable on Basic Tax
