CyTech is seeking an experienced
Software Development Project Manager
to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity software projects. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering projects that align with organizational cybersecurity objectives and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resources for cybersecurity software initiatives.
  • Lead collaboration among IT, security analysts, developers, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats pertinent to project goals.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust plans as necessary, and report status to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, procurement, and vendor relations.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Manage incident response coordination and develop training programs relevant to project scope.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management methodologies specific to cybersecurity projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of project management experience in IT or cybersecurity domains.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, compliance requirements, and risk management.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Cagayan de Oro City and coordinate with international teams across different time zones.
