Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Junior Analyst Programmer to join our project-based development team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Java, Ionic, and React, with a strong foundation in application development, requirements understanding, and system support. Experience working in the insurance industry is an advantage. This role follows a hybrid work setup based in BGC, Taguig City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of application modules based on project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Java, Ionic, and React frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and senior developers to understand functional and technical specifications.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, including design specifications, system flows, and user manuals.
  • Conduct unit testing and support integration testing to ensure application quality and stability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, system issues, and performance concerns in a timely manner.
  • Support production systems by analyzing reported issues and providing effective fixes or enhancements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project goals.
  • Ensure that all development activities follow coding standards, best practices, and security requirements.
  • Provide suggestions for system and process improvements where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on programming experience, specifically in:
  • Java (required)
  • Ionic (required)
  • React (required)
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a strong advantage.
  • Basic understanding of systems analysis and SDLC principles.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and application integration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and eagerness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, hybrid environment.
  • Experience with Agile development is a plus.

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid setup, with onsite work required in BGC, Taguig City depending on project schedules.
  • Project-based engagement, with potential extension based on performance and project needs.

Job Type: Fixed term

Pay: Php50, Php80,000.00 per month
