Job Description:

  • Conducts studies and prepares reports that include study findings, recommendations, and instructions for proposed system implementations
  • Designs, modifies, and implements new or revised systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
  • Assists with defining the goals of the system, devises flow charts, and diagrams logical operational steps of the programs.
  • May write and update computer and mainframe application programs.
  • May provide technical support as a high-level resource available for problem resolution or new feature creation.
  • May provide guidance to other jr. developers

Preferred Skills (heading) / Compétences Particulières (titre)

  • ETL, Knowledge of Informatica IDMC
  • Oracle SQL and/or PL-SQL
  • UNIX and shell scripting
  • Experience in Qlikview is a plus

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Expert with Informatica PowerCenter v8.x and higher.
  • Extensive knowledge of coding languages including SQL, Unix Scripting.
  • Experience with columnar databases.
  • Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques.
  • Proven work experience as an ETL Developer.
  • Strong project management skills.

  • Practices current development methods/techniques/standards to ensure the quality and maintainability of ETL Programs & Data Architecture.
  • Supports system development and modifications to existing structures.
  • Conducts studies that include findings, recommendations, and instructions for proposed system implementations; formulates logical descriptions of problems. and devises optimum solutions.
  • Troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  • Develops and maintains required technical documentation
