RESEARCH/SKILLS GAP ANALYST (INTRAMUROS CAMPUS, ONSITE)

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing data on industry skills gap, learner's demographics, competitors (training and microcredential providers), and the marketplace to provide insights and/or recommendations to support decision-making in curriculum innovation and microcredentials development.

Primary Functions:

  • Collect data on industry skills gap, learner's demographics, competitors and the market place using modern and traditional methods.
  • Analyze future job market trends, technological advancements and evolving industry demands to anticipate future skills requirements.
  • Collaborate with employers, industry associations, and educational institutions to understand their specific upskilling and reskilling needs.
  • Provide insights from the skills gap analysis to ensure curriculum content is relevant, practical, and aligned with the industry standards.
  • Collect and analyze data on learner engagement, completion rates, skill acquisition, and career outcomes.
  • Provide competitive analysis on competitor's offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation.
  • Keep track of market trends, third party researches, methodology and best practices.

Qualifications:

A. Education: BS Statistics, BS Marketing or any related field

B. Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Proven market research analysis experience
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking ability
  • Comprehensive knowledge of statistical packages, databases and MS Office
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce
  • Advanced knowledge on search engines, web analytics, and business research tools
  • Knowledge on data warehousing, modelling and mining
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

C. Work Experience: with at least 1 year of work experience in related fields
