This role involves contributing to the production of Climate Reports and Sector Analyses by conducting rigorous research and data analysis on companies' climate performance. The role is well-suited for an early career sustainability researcher to contribute to the development and maintenance of innovative climate financial materiality evaluations and assessments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting climate data from various public sources, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of the final reports through quality assurance. You will collaborate with Senior Analysts and other teams to evaluate corporate climate performance, maintain proprietary assessment frameworks, and monitor emerging climate trends and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Environmental Science, Climate Science, Political Science, Development Studies, Finance, Business, or related Social Sciences)
• 1-3 years of experience in Climate Research, Sustainability Reporting, or related fields; Working experience in a related sector would be an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Robust research and analytical skills, with a focus on interpreting complex data and identifying critical insights
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy
• Passion for Sustainability and a good understanding of financial markets and corporate structures
• Ability to work efficiently in an independent and team setting, most notably in a dynamic working environment
• Committed to professional growth by actively seeking feedback, completing assigned training, and mastering core research principles and tools
• Experience in working with AI tools, such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and CoPilot, is desirable

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; Experience with Power BI and other data analysis tools is a plus

• Contribute to the production of company-specific climate reports and sector analyses

• Engage in specific research tasks and conduct rigorous analysis by collecting and analyzing climate data from public disclosures, company reports, and other credible sources
• Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our climate evaluations and research reports
• Support Team Lead and Senior Analysts in evaluating companies' climate performance across various sectors and regions, alongside the execution of other research studies
• Collaborate with the methodology and technology teams to help maintain and update proprietary climate evaluation methodologies and assessment frameworks
• Monitor and research emerging climate trends, regulations, and best practices
• Support the development of new climate products and research materials

This role is a full-time, hybrid position that requires regular office attendance (3x per week). This position is based in our Makati City office.
