Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean office areas and common spaces.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as fixing leaks, repairing minor office issues, changing light bulbs, or carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
  • Monitor the facility for needed repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure all areas are safe, hazard-free, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Respond to emergency cleaning or maintenance requests as needed.
  • Assist with other administrative work as required.
  • Maintain and check inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
  • Assist in the movement of equipment and materials for delivery and removal during project implementation and closure, supporting the ESCE team as required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in janitorial, maintenance, or custodial work is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
  • Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift, move, and carry heavy objects.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward solving problems.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Has initiative at work
