  1. Interviews patient and initiates steps that will comply with their necessities to meet and exceed their expectation.

  2. Refers patients/ relatives to other hospitals/ agencies especially if the needs are beyond the scope of the hospital services. These includes:

a. Referral of patients and relatives to welfare agencies for the provision of materials assistance for the pre-post operative needs of the patient.

b. Referral of abused, abandoned and neglected/ babies to Government/ Non-Government agencies for temporary shelter and proper case management.

c. Referral of victim of child abuse Government/ Non-Government agencies for legal assistance.

d. Utilize mass media to locate family members of unidentified patients brought to the hospital for treatment particularly medico legal cases.

  1. Interviews patient/relatives to assess their eligibility as service patient for OB-GYNE department.

  2. Coordinates with attending physician concerning cases of financially impoverished patients as service patients in the Pediatric and Medicine departments

  3. Coordinates with attending physician, ER Nurse concerning referrals to other hospitals/ agencies of those patients with special needs.

  4. Follows up cases referred to social welfare agencies and implements intervention for patients and/ or families as needed.

  5. Conducts daily ward rounds in the hospital to determine patient's problems that directly hinder his/her treatment.

  6. Prepares updated progress reports of red tag patients.

  7. Represents the company in the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) assembly and in government social services agencies like PCSO and others.

  8. Prepares and analyzes monthly statistical data and other reports needed.

  9. Ensures that all legal requirements are complied.

  10. Ensures that Integrated Management System standards in relation to social service care are implemented, monitored and documented.

  11. Performs other tasks related to the department that may be assigned from time to time.
