Lead Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a technical team involved in the restoration project, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and according to project timelines.
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and replacing damaged signaling equipment components.
• Conduct hands-on repair and replacement of signaling equipment components, such as relays, circuit boards, wiring, switches, and sensors, damaged by the fire incident.
• Ensure that repair activities comply with safety standards, technical specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities to verify the functionality, reliability, and safety compliance of restored signaling systems.
• Perform signal testing, calibration, and integration with control systems to ensure seamless operation within the railway network.
• Maintain accurate records of repair and testing activities, including work logs, test results, equipment manuals, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare progress reports and updates for supervisors and project managers on project status, challenges encountered, and resource requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for the team and prevent accidents.
• Implement quality assurance measures to uphold standards of workmanship and performance in restoration activities.

• Pamahalaan at i-koordina ang mga gawain ng teknikal na koponan na kasama sa proyektong pag-restorasyon, tiyakin na ang mga gawain ay naiimpliwensyahan nang maayos at ayon sa mga takdang panahon ng proyekto.
• Magbigay ng teknikal na gabay at suporta sa mga teknisyan sa pagsusuri, pagkumpuni, at pagpapalit ng mga nasirang kagamitan sa signalisasyon.
• Magsagawa ng mga gawain sa pagkumpuni at pagpapalit ng mga komponente ng kagamitan sa signalisasyon tulad ng mga relay, circuit board, wiring, switch, at sensor na nasira dahil sa sunog.
• Tiyakin na ang mga gawain sa pagkumpuni ay sumusunod sa mga pamantayan sa kaligtasan, teknikal na pagtutukoy, at mga alituntunin ng tagagawa.
• Pamunuan ang mga gawain sa pagsusuri at komisyoning upang tiyakin ang pagiging epektibo, maaasahan, at pagsunod sa kaligtasan ng mga naibalik na sistema ng signalisasyon.
• Magsagawa ng mga pagsusuri sa signal, kalibrasyon, at integrasyon sa mga kontrol na sistema upang matiyak ang magandang operasyon sa loob ng railway network.
• Panatilihin ang mga tumpak na talaan ng mga gawain sa pagkumpuni at pagsusuri, kasama ang mga talaan ng trabaho, resulta ng pagsusuri, mga manual ng kagamitan, at dokumentasyon ng pagsunod sa mga regulasyon.
• Ihanda ang mga pagsusuri ng progreso at mga update para sa mga supervisor at project manager ukol sa status ng proyekto, mga hamon na nararanasan, at mga pangangailangan sa mga mapagkukunan.

JOB QUALIFICATION:

• At least graduate of any technical/vocational course;
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in the project implementation of any/all of the following:

a. Installation/testing/commissioning of railway signaling system

b. Repair/ Rehabilitation/Upgrading of train signaling system, or

c. Maintenance of train signaling system
