The L2 Security Analyst will manage and monitor security systems, analyze threats, and respond to security incidents. This role requires in-depth knowledge of security protocols and tools, to protect the organization's IT infrastructure. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop security policies and implement best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security systems and logs for potential threats.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments on security-related projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats and tools.
  • Provide training and support to junior security staff.
  • Document security incidents and create detailed reports.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance security posture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
  • Certifications such as Security Operations Analyst Certification, Cybersecurity Analyst Certification, Incident Handling and Response Certification, Cyber Defense Certification, Blue Team Analyst – Level 2 Certification, Network Monitoring and Threat Detection Certification, CySA+ Certification are must have
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, SIEM, and firewall management.
  • Proven experience in incident response and threat analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple incidents simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The Security Analyst may be required to work rotating shifts, including nights,
  • weekends, and holidays, to provide 24/7 coverage of security operations.
  • The position is full time onsite and may involve occasional travel to attend conferences, training sessions, or to support incident response activities at remote locations.
  • This is a project-based role with an expected duration of 13 months. Possible start date is by 1st week of November.
