About Orange Forum 2025

Orange Forum 2025 "From the South, for the Future: Financing for Sustainability through Inclusion" will be a landmark convening that redefines the global narrative: shifting the focus from aid to action, from crisis to leadership. Taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia from 5–7 November 2025, the Forum will spotlight Indonesia's rising status as a global leader in Orange Capital and chart how this leadership can be scaled across the Global South. Kicking off with a Partners' Dinner on 5 November, the Forum convenes on 6 November and concludes with a members-only session on 7 November. Co-hosted with leading government and development partners, the Forum will bring together governments, investors, private sector leaders, civil society, and donors—mobilizing capital, influence, and partnerships to accelerate inclusive, climate-smart finance. More than a series of discussions, Orange Forum 2025 will drive outcomes: regional commitments, new capital solutions, and cross-border partnerships to shape the future of sustainable, inclusive economies.

Scope of Work

The Content & Event Director will lead the conceptual and strategic direction of Orange Forum 2025, focusing on content, program quality, and outcomes, while ensuring all materials and sessions are aligned with overall Forum objectives.

Responsibilities include program writing, developing session materials, curating thought leaders, and managing VIP and high-level stakeholder engagement. The Director will also oversee post-Forum follow-ups, sustaining relationships and translating connections into tangible, business-driven outcomes.

The Director will work closely with the local event logistics vendor, IIX Marketing and other teams to ensure smooth cohesion between program content and operational execution. The role emphasizes driving tangible outcomes, including regional commitments and partnerships facilitated through the Forum program.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Curation & Strategic Program Design

  2. Refine thematic panels and session agendas, ensuring coherence and high-quality messaging.

  3. Conduct program writing, including briefing materials, speaker treatments, and session scripts.

  4. Shape and align speaker contributions — through prep calls and tailored guidance — to ensure a cohesive narrative that advances Forum objectives.

  5. Attendee Curation

  6. Curate and secure global and regional thought leaders, keynote speakers, panelists, and high-level stakeholders for each session, ensuring a balanced and influential lineup.

  7. Manage overall attendee mix, ensuring diverse representation across regions, ecosystem actors, and demographics.

  8. Manage relationships, scheduling, and protocol for VIPs and high-level stakeholders — including government leaders, ambassadors, ministers, investors, donors, and other key partners

  9. Oversee protocol for high-level attendees (e.g., ministers, ambassadors, investors, donors) to ensure positioning and engagement are aligned with Forum objectives.

  10. Financial Management

  11. Track and oversee event-related disbursements (e.g., speaker fees, honoraria, session costs), ensuring compliance with internal policies and sponsorship deliverables requirements.

  12. Maintain transparent reporting with internal and external parties on allocation and usage of sponsorship and program funds.

  13. Outcomes & Post-Event Impact

  14. Ensure sessions drive tangible results: regional commitments, new capital solutions, and cross-border partnerships.

  15. Oversee post-event synthesis, capturing insights, outcomes, and lessons for future forums.

  16. Manage follow-up with VIPs and stakeholders — including thank-you notes, outcome tracking, and facilitating follow-up meetings — to convert Forum momentum into sustained partnerships and action.

  17. Collaboration & Oversight

  18. Work closely with the Events Logistics Vendor and other teams to ensure seamless alignment between program content and operational execution.

  19. Maintain high standards of intellectual rigor, creativity, and strategic thinking throughout the Forum program.

Ideal Profile and Qualifications.

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience organizing high-level, multi-stakeholder events or conferences in Asia Pacific, preferably in sustainable finance, impact investing, or international development.

  • Strong understanding of the sustainable finance landscape, with awareness of key regional stakeholders and what drives their participation and engagement.

  • Demonstrated experience in program design and content curation, including drafting agendas, speaker briefings, and narrative framing for conferences or summits.

  • Proven ability to engage and liaise with senior-level stakeholders, including government leaders, investors, donors, and international organizations.

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate big-picture objectives into detailed step-by-step action plans.

  • Agile, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with the capacity to remain calm and effective under high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
