Quantity Surveyor

Job Role:

Responsible for managing all costs related to construction and civil engineering projects. They ensure that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets for construction projects.
• Manage the tendering process including preparing tender documents and evaluating contractor bids.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage construction contracts.
• Monitor project costs, conduct valuations, and ensure spending stays within budget.
• Identify commercial and financial risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Process payments to contractors and prepare final accounts after project completion.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, legal regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Perform such other related task that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Licensed is a plus.
• At least 2–3 years of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
• Strong numerical and financial management skills.
• Excellent understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Knowledge of legal requirements and contract law.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to work in BGC, Taguig.
• Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Willing to start as soon as possible.
