MagentIQ is partnering with an innovative client that's building data-driven products designed to make a real impact. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who takes ownership, writes clean, testable code, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Write modular, reusable, and clean code with a strong emphasis on testability, including writing your own tests.
  • Take ownership of projects—make decisions, drive progress, and deliver value with minimal supervision.
  • Develop new features by leveraging existing design systems and functionality—even when mockups aren't provided.
  • Focus on delivering practical, user-focused solutions by testing features from the user's perspective and continuously improving UX.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure new features are robust and testable.
  • Work closely with the product team to validate feasibility and refine upcoming changes.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer with modern Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with Python.
  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL.
  • Proficiency in React, , or similar modern frontend frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Kafka and Redis or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with data-driven applications.
  • Solid experience with relational databases and SQL, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design and debugging slow queries.
  • Advocate of modern Python practices (async/await, type-hints, data classes, pydantic).
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure, Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of using REST APIs to integrate with external services.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with significant autonomy.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, or similar product analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data modeling for analytics instrumentation.
  • Background in building internal tooling or developer experience improvements.
