Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
As a PR Manager, you will be responsible for building, managing, and protecting the company's brand reputation through effective communication strategies, media relations, and public engagement. The PR Manager is also responsible for developing publicity strategies for different situations like company expansion and charitable initiatives. This role plays a critical part in shaping how customers, partners, and stakeholders perceive our company in the digital marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputationCreating and managing a PR Plan which includes budgets and timelinesManage media relations by building and maintaining strong relationships with media, influencers, bloggers, and other industry stakeholdersWrite and distribute press releases, media kits, newsletter, and other PR materialsMonitor media coverage and provide timely reports on PR activities, brand mentions, and current industry trendsDevelop and implement publicity strategies for the company's products, including a crisis management strategy Handle crisis communication and reputational risk managementCollaborate with the Marketing and Social Media teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across campaigns and platformsAnalyze all media coverage of the company and draft appropriate responsesPlan and execute PR activities like product launches, brand partnerships, and media briefingsSupport leadership team with communication materials, speeches, and talking points for public appearances or interviewsTrack PR performance metrics (reach, management, sentiment, ROI) and recommend improvementsKey Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fieldsAt least 1-3 years of experience in PR, preferably in an e-commerce companyStrong media network and proven track record in securing press coverageExcellent oral and written communication skillSuperior customer relationship management skillsExcellent creative writing skillsAnalytical thinker and problem solverHas an in-depth knowledge of industry best practices and trendsStrong project management skillsExcellent attention to detailGreat skills in crafting compelling stories and messaging aligned with brand objectivesSkilled in crisis management and handling sensitive informationFamiliarity with social media, influencer marketing, and digital PR toolsProactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative team player with leadership potential-
