We are looking for a marketing assistant who is naturally passionate and geeky about marketing, who can show a keen interest for our industry and mission. The right candidate will possess the competencies outlined below -
- Analytical - demonstrate deep analytical and technical abilities. The job requires analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems, such as being able to perform analysis on the marketing data and solving problems related to marketing technology;
- Creative - the ability to add real creative flair and design to marketing and product launch campaigns;
- Attention to Detail — must demonstrate attention to detail when working within a regulated sector;
- Initiative — such as being able to present and/or pitch a better way of managing a process, or a more efficient system.
- Dependability — you must be reliable, responsible, dependable and able to fulfil obligations.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the Investment & FinTech sector and express a keen interest in Bitcoin and other crypto currencies, including the innovation around the Banking and Finance world. As long as you have the passion and interest in this area, we have the best training in the industry to fast-track your understanding and help you develop your skills further. You shall possess a super-calm, friendly, supportive persona and demonstrate the tenacity to get things done under stressful deadlines.
This is a very important role as you will be working directly with the Chief of Staff - the CEO's right-hand person in PR and Marketing. As well as working with the Marketing team/department, you may be required to lend support in other departments such as the Pitch Management department, Corporate Actions department, Investor Relations department etc. You shall demonstrate the ability to work as a great team player who enjoys problem solving and working in an intelligent orderly fashion.
Below is a list of duties you shall be performing, but not limited to:
- CRM (Client Relationship Management) software - This is the Pitch Management department where the Pitch management team work with businesses (Clients) who are raising investment capital on Platform. If you've worked on CRM software such as ZOHO or any other CRM software, then you shall explain and demonstrate why you did it and how you setup such systems.
- Designing websites - We don't expect you to be a graphic designer and have full CSS, JAVA script, or HTML coding skills - you will be working with a graphic designer and some basic technical skills in graphic design will be a bonus.
- Marketing campaigns - You shall be assisting in preparing draft newsletters and co-ordinating releases of newsletter copies ready to send out to our mailing lists.
- Social Media - Assisting in designing banners for all social media platforms such as, YouTube, Instagram, twitter and designing livestream YouTube thumbnail images. We use software such as Buffer to make sure communications are reached to an existing audience in a timely manner. Therefore, being savvy with social media platforms and understanding which ones work best and which ones don't is a must.
- YouTube Livestream - We regularly do YouTube livestreams and we use state of the art technology, therefore, you must be able to set up livestreams, co-ordinate the teams and guests during our BF Livestream;
- Copywriting - Not essential, but desirable if you are able to create first draft marketing copies, or able to assist in edit for first draft copies.
- Troubleshooting and creating solutions - You will work with the PR and Marketing Manager in assisting with the marketing strategies and demonstrate that you are technically savvy.
- Writing Blogs - Posting a blog on our website is something you shall be assisting the PR and Marketing Manager with on a regular basis.
- Video editing - You will have mid to advance level video editing skills and can demonstrate that you can edit training videos efficiently.
- Livestream studio - You will be working and assisting with the state of the art equipment and software. You will possess the technical skills which are required to work with such systems.
- Graphic design skills - Mid-level Adobe Photoshop and or Keynote skills.
- Assisting as a co-host on BF Livestream - You may be required to assist as a co-host on BF LIVE. Therefore, confidence and good communication skills in the English language are a must, as well as being able to co-ordinate and manage listeners' questions for the main host.
Tasks in detail, but not limited to
- Assist in promotional strategies and product development;
- Assist in copy writing and editing sales and marketing materials, which include articles, presentations, white papers and collateral;
- Assist in copy writing and editing corporate actions copies to Clients and Investors;
- Assist in copy writing Investor related newsletters including other legal communications and formal notices;
- Complete sales-related and marketing administrative projects that include running marketing and sales reports, conducting research on company and other assignments in database;
- Develop media packs as well as conduct conferences and trade shows;
- Generate trade show passes, thank you letters, form letters for mailing mass brochures to prospective customers;
- Maintain project tracking spreadsheets and business line marketing calendars;
- Manage marketing and media event budgets and arrange preparatory meetings for trade shows and seminars;
- Prepare invitations, event agendas, track payments or refunds and registration forms for events;
- Prepare press releases, company newsletters and event announcements;
- Provide administrative aids for various projects related to the market, which include project meeting schedules, minutes of meetings, transcribe notes and compose memos;
- Provide assistance in creating and enhancing the campaign list;
- Provide assistance in terms of logistics to events like seminars and trade shows;
- Provide personal and administrative support to Directors. The support includes running errands, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing appointments and agendas;
- Serve as liaison between advertising agencies and the Company, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various marketing services;
- Update Company headlines and news in the corporate website;
- Validate and fulfil requests for information and marketing, tracking mail and requests.
Software you should be familiar with:
- Adobe Photoshop - this is not essential, but is desirable if you possess at least basic to mid-level skills, and it's a bonus if you have advance level skills on Adobe Photoshop;
- Keynote;
- ZOHO CRM;
- YouTube Livestreams;
- Social media advertising campaigns;
- Website building especially using all-in-one marketing software which allows you to build websites and marketing campaigns from within;
- Blogs (Word Press);
- Google Doc; Google Drive; Google Slides; Google Sheets;
- Slack;
- Technically savvy enough to learn any new Project management software.
Working Conditions & Other Requirements:
- Decent and strong Wifi network connectivity with rarely any downtime, with proficient speed to enable applicant to work from home efficiently;
- Must have an Apple devices such as MacBook Pro or Mac Desktop;
- A room where you can work securely and privately without presence of family, friends, relatives or any other visitors;
- Smartphone, to enable downloads and use of certain apps, such as but not limited to - Telegram, Slack, Signal, Zoom etc.
Work From Home:
BF independent contractors/freelancers shall be required to work remotely/virtually ("work from home") and securely using your own secured Wi-Fi services/network working with company's cloud based applications set out by the Company, whilst maintaining the highest level of security. For enhanced security, BF requires that Contractors/Freelancers work from their own device using ideally Apple devices (preferred) such as MacBook or desktops.
