This role is dedicated to act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) from Procurement to master an end-to-end of procurement activities primarily for IT category which includes Infrastructure, Software, Application, Professional Services, etc. He or she should be responsible for ensuring all sourcing activities are compliant with group and local governance requirement and drive the best value to the company.

The successful candidate should be also familiar with procurement procure-to-pay system. He or she should provide timely advisory support to internal stakeholders and supplier for issue/enquiry resolution.

The role aims to demonstrate procurement value whenever possible across the 4 key pillars:

  1. Procurement knowledge
  2. Contract management
  3. Category management
  4. Stakeholder management

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide peer-to-peer coaching/sharing to junior team member
  2. Support the development and implementation of effective sourcing strategies to meet overall IT roadmap, group-wide initiatives and strategy plan
  3. Support the development and execution of team direction
  4. Work closely with group procurement community to adopt the best practice and localize group strategy
  5. Conduct market and cost analysis, identify and evaluation potential suppliers, negotiate contracts
  6. Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders (internal and external) to translate all requirements into action plans
  7. Perform full spectrum of procurement activities and stay compliant with group and local policies
  8. Proactively identify and implement cost saving initiatives
  9. Assist in carrying out the best practice and developing process to streamline operational efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. University graduate in supply chain management, business management or other related disciplines;
  2. Minimum 4 years of solid experience in IT Sourcing & Procurement process
  3. Sound understanding of complex contractual terms and conditions, as well as IT market landscape
  4. Strong stakeholder management skill
  5. Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills
  6. A great team player, result-oriented, detailed-mind, able to work independently in a fast paced working environment and can work under pressure
