Senior Business Analyst

Skill Set

• BS / BA in Computer Science, Business, Accounting or similar field
• At least five (5) years' experience in a senior business analysis role, two (2) of which should be working with senior users;
• Must have extensive experience using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project) for professional documentation;
• Must be conversant with systems development lifecycle principles;
• Must be able to relate to large information-based organizations and comfortable dealing with senior executives from a variety of cultures;
• Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Excellent business process knowledge of Procure-to-Pay
• Experience working on Oracle ERP Financials application such as, but not limited to: General Ledger (GL), Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Fixed Assets
• Experience in customization of Oracle ERP application
• Experience with integration of Oracle ERP and cloud-based systems
• Experience in Business Intelligence reporting technologies
• Knowledge in Coupa is an advantage
• Accounting background is an advantage
• Experience in Agile teams

Non-Project Related Responsibilities

• Assist in developing standard business operating model and process
• Assist in implementing Business Process Management and toolset
• Work with user groups to define, enhance and agree on documentation standards for process and requirements related area
• Conduct interview with users and correct process materials to develop "as is" processes
• Identify gaps and problems from the "as is" processes and translate them into improvement opportunities with business benefit description
• Document and escalate critical issues found from "as is" processes for management attention
• Assist in reviewing and processing Business Case which is requested from all user groups
• Investigate statistic information
• Examine process impact and dependencies based on the required change described in the business case
• Assist in conducting peer review meeting for the business case and incorporate it into business case
• Monitor application releases situation and update business process and activity description based on the net process changes from the approved business cases

Project Related Responsibilities

• Provide the necessary input for finalization of a detailed project plan for the design, build and deployment of the associated solution
• Assist project manager to define business & functional requirements and formulate vision & business operating model. This includes participation in cross-functional discussions to analyze needed requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Facilitate the translation of the vision into a comprehensive definition of enabling solutions – process and associated automation of the process
• Assist project manager to gain consensus from all key stakeholders for the vision and business operating model
• Conduct workshop to define "to be" process and activity based on agreed business operating model for assigned project. Document process, activities and requirements definition and obtain sign off from user community
• Develop and deliver system specifications in support of the required solution(s) in a clear, thorough and timely manner
• Present to stakeholders the proposed processes/solutions and the agreed final solution to be delivered
• Assist project manager to develop overall UAT plan
• Develop User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts which includes test scenario & cases, based on defined process and functional requirements
• Assist user to develop Training Material for the "to be" processes
• Develop enhancement list and obtain user agreement for the application roadmap.
