The Sr IT Business Analyst leads the analysis and documentation of Aurecon IT projects, so that our portfolios deliver the highest quality initiatives to Aurecon. The Senior IT Business Analyst is equally comfortable working with business stakeholders to capture requirements, project managers to coordinate tasks and team members, and technical teams to ensure that requirements are delivered. The Senior IT Business Analyst will also be required to act as a Scrum Master to support delivery. The successful candidate will bring their confidence and work ethic to ensure the successful implementation of IT initiatives at Aurecon.

What will you do?

We know the work we do is vital in assisting Aurecon's business globally. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.

• Capture and document requirements, scope, and business processes for IT projects.
• Conduct workshops and interviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders from across the business.
• Work with project and portfolio managers to ensure appropriate project resourcing, task assignments and project reporting.
• Deliver key artefacts as required by the project, including user stories, business requirements documentation, traceability matrices, as-is and to-be process documentation, and wireframes.

Application/Product Experience:

• Competency using Microsoft Excel to produce and maintain reports, lists and visualizations
• Competency using Microsoft Visio to create and maintain process documentation.
• Atlassian Confluence and JIRA
• Project experience in Azure, virtual servers or relevant

Additional Responsibilities:

• Act as Scrum Master as and when required.
• Assist portfolio and project managers in identifying, reporting, and resolving risks and issues throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with solution architects, security analysts and change analysts to produce material to support the successful delivery of IT projects.

You will also need the following capabilities:

Qualifications (Required)

• Has 7+ years of project experience as an IT Business Analyst on technology focused projects
• At least 3 years in project experience in (Azure, Virtual Servers/Machines, Data Center), Hosting capability
• Scrum Master (working in agile/scrum environment)
