Purpose of the Role:

The Finance Sr. Specialist acts as a strategic advisor to assigned Business Units, leading financial planning, performance management, and commercial decision support. The role drives value creation through data-driven insights, proactive business partnering, and sound financial stewardship. The position provides leadership to a small team and ensures alignment between business objectives and financial performance goals

Professional Experience

  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, or Decision Support, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Key Accountability

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Lead financial strategy discussions with BU Heads and Senior Leadership
  • Provide proactive insights and challenge assumptions to influence strategic and operational outcomes
  • Oversee business case development for major initiatives, pricing, and investment decisions
  • Strengthen business accountability through performance reviews and strategic alignment

Budget Planning/Control and Monthly Forecasting

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and forecasting cycles, ensuring linkage to company strategy
  • Review and consolidate BU submissions, ensuring alignment and accuracy
  • Present financial plans and outlooks to leadership and provide recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes and tools

Reporting and Financial Analysis

  • Lead financial performance reviews, variance analyses, and business insights reporting
  • Develop and enhance financial dashboards and reporting automation with FP&A
  • Translate analytics into strategic recommendations for BU management

Governance, Compliance & Process Optimization

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and governance frameworks
  • Identify process inefficiencies and drive automation or simplification initiatives
  • Support compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations

Financial Regulatory Knowledge

  • Keep abreast of local and international accounting standards, tax updates, and compliance requirements
  • Support implementation of audit recommendations and internal control frameworks

Minimum Qualifications

  • College graduate of any Business Finance-related course (e.g. BS Accountancy, BS Management Accounting, BA Economics, BS Financial Management, BS Banking and Finance)
  • CPA/CMA an advantage but not required.
