About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Supervisor to join the finance team of Spotts Inc'. This full-time position is based in Makati City, Metro Manila and will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the company's financial reporting. Can start immediately.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Reconciling general ledger accounts and performing month-end close procedures
  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures
  • Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Providing support and guidance to the wider finance team as needed

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably within the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office suite
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to provide insightful financial analysis
