The ideal candidate is passionate about leadership, client service, process improvement, and technology. Our clients span multiple industries and revenue sizes. We leverage top technology to streamline their back-office processes, enabling innovation while we operate in the background.

Strong client communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You will gain exposure to all aspects of accounting. Your daily tasks may include onboarding new clients, balance sheet triage, preparing or reviewing financial models, and providing financial statements.

The role offers diverse learning opportunities and requires a passion for technology and process enhancement. The Accounting Manager will be a key leader, capable of scaling operations for mid-market businesses. Utilizing our standardized platform, you will operate efficiently and independently, proactively researching solutions and presenting ideas to the team.

Success is measured by team leadership, client satisfaction, and contributions to process improvements, with proficiency in NetSuite and effective communication skills essential. Essential FunctionsProven leadership and mentorship with a hands-on management style

Deep understanding of full cycle accounting including AP, AR, reconciliations, prepaids, fixed assets, accrued expenses, deferred revenue, and long-term debt/equity

Leading month-end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting

Client onboarding, balance sheet cleanup, and audit/reconciliation techniques

Reducing month-end close timeframes and enhancing reporting and analysis

Understanding segregation of duties and internal controls

Leveraging technology and consultants for automation

Researching ASC standards, drafting technical memos, and coordinating with auditors

Reviewing loan documents and contracts for GAAP compliance

Patience and professionalism during client training

Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and projections

Supporting credit negotiations with detailed schedules and analysis

Staying current with GAAP updates, including ASC 606 and 842Problem-solving NetSuite issues

Ensuring data security protocols

Identifying and recommending policy or process changes

Monitoring service delivery and operational efficiencies

Proposing and executing system enhancements

Communicating risks and developing mitigation solutions

Delivering ad hoc reports via NetSuite searchesQualificationsMinimum 5 years as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in a mid-market organization, with preference for public accounting experience. Hands-on NetSuite experience required. Strong skills in change management, issue resolution, data analysis, and financial reporting. Excellent communication skills are necessary.Education & ExperienceBS in AccountingCertificationsCPA required
