You will oversee and support our PH-based accountants, handle complex client requests, and take charge of project management for senior accounting jobs. Oversee and project manage senior accounting engagements, including but not limited to:Monthly and year-end closing processes
Year-end tax compliance projects
Quality assurance and controller-level book reviews
Ad hoc project management
Deliver and conduct monthly financial review calls with clients, providing insights and strategic recommendations.Lead executive business reviews and scoping sessions with clients to assess financial needs and opportunities. Act as the primary point of contact for client relationship management, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance accounting processes, improve efficiency, and drive service excellence.
Provide technical accounting expertise and advisory support on complex accounting issues. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies. Daily Tools:Accounting Platforms: QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, , ADP, Gusto, Ramp, Divvy, SynderProject Management & Communication: Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Keeper, 1PasswordRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA certification preferred).7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership and client-facing advisory role.
Strong experience with GAAP and accrual-based accounting. Proven expertise in managing month-end and year-end closing processes, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Experience working with US-based clients, preferably in industries such as E-commerce, SaaS, Professional Services, and Nonprofits.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and other small business financial software. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple engagements simultaneously. Excellent client relationship management skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel. Experience in building and standardizing operational processes is a plus. Experience in managing a distributed accounting team is highly desirable.
