As a banquet intern, your role is to provide comprehensive support in organizing, executing, and managing events, while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain event files, schedules, and client details to ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assist with the preparation of banquet documents, including banquet event order forms, schedules, and guest lists.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events, from pre-event logistics to post-event wrap-up.
  • Keep track of event supplies, such as linens, décor, and equipment, to ensure everything is stocked and available for the event.
  • Assist with physical event setups, including arranging furniture, decorations, and ensuring all equipment is in place (e.g., audio-visual systems, buffet tables, or seating arrangements).
  • Assist in setting up the venue according to the client's specifications or the event's requirements, ensuring the layout complements the event's flow.
  • Assist clients with event requests and exceptional accommodations, ensuring that their expectations are met.
  • Engage with guests to ensure they have a pleasant experience, addressing their needs or concerns promptly.
