Job Title: Electrical Estimator – Commercial & Industrial Projects

Job Type: Full-Time | Remote | US Time Zone | Up to $10/hr

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Estimator with proven experience in commercial and industrial projects. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in preparing accurate estimates, collaborating with project teams, and supporting successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and job requirements to determine project scope and costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Support service department with load calculations, one-line diagrams, and permitting tasks when needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical estimating experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with EBM or similar estimating software preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Familiarity with American electrical systems and voltages.
  • Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.

Additional Notes

  • Training may initially align with the PM's schedule (AZ time, midnight to 9:00 AM) before transitioning to standard US business hours.
  • A large monitor setup (ideally 43" 4k) is highly recommended for working with plans and estimates.
  • Tools used: Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, EBM (remote server connection).

Compensation

  • Up to $10/hr (depending on experience)
  • Full-time, long-term remote role
