Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence within the food and beverage industry. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, managing key accounts, and increasing revenue through effective sales and market development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the food and beverage sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, suppliers, and key clients
  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and partnership agreements
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to support product launches and promotions
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports, forecasts, and growth projections
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry
  • Strong understanding of food service, retail, FMCG, or beverage distribution channels
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic business decisions
  • Willingness to travel as needed
