Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Direct the hotel's overall financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the General Manager and Executive Committee based on financial performance and market trends.
- Ensure alignment between financial planning and the hotel's short- and long-term goals.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
- Lead the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Monitor revenue and expense trends, flag risks, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, cash flow, and inventory.
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, internal controls, and brand/hotel financial policies.
- Manage audits (internal and external), financial compliance, and tax filings.
Cost Control & Operational Support
- Drive cost containment initiatives and profitability analysis across departments (Rooms, F&B, Spa, etc.).
- Collaborate with department heads to align spending with business goals and service standards.
- Oversee procurement processes and support vendor negotiations from a financial perspective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is an advantage but not required)
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive financial experience in hospitality, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality financial systems (e.g.,).
- Deep understanding of hotel P&L, cost control, labor management, and capital expenditures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
