The Sr. Data Scientist must have strong experience using various data mining/data analysis methods, using different data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • This position will also help develop and deliver training modules to facilitate the roll-out of the new or redesigned processes & continuous improvements initiative

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Math, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business courses and the like
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Science
  • Proficient in Python or R
  • Experience with SageMaker, Power BI, and AWS is a plus but not required.
  • Has experience in deployment, machine learning projects, storytelling, demos, and analysis
  • Project management experience
  • Facilitate and help teams to create process maps, evaluate process "as is" state and Identify opportunities to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and business impact of assigned areas.
  • Participate & facilitate teams to redesign assigned business processes including new process maps, procedures, develop and deliver associated training modules, communicate process changes.
  • Lead automation of data flows & analysis.
  • Willing to work in hybrid set-up
