About the Role – Data Scientist We are seeking a Data Scientist with 4–5 years of professional experience who thrives at the intersection of analytics, data science, and business strategy. The ideal candidate is not just a model builder but also a storyteller—able to transform complex data into business impact, influence decision-making, and deliver scalable data solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SQL, Python/R, ETL/ELT processes, statistical modeling, and visualization tools to deliver actionable insights and predictive models. You will collaborate closely with both business and technical teams, using data to bring clarity to complex problems and opportunities. Key Responsibilities Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation using Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) or R. Design and develop machine learning pipelines to predict future trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Perform statistical analyses (descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression). Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient and reliable data flow. Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analysis with strategic business objectives. Communicate technical findings to executives and stakeholders through clear, compelling storytelling and visualizations. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or PhD is a plus). Experience 4–5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions). Expertise in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) or R for analysis and model training. Experience with ETL/ELT processes for building and maintaining pipelines. Solid foundation in statistics (descriptive stats, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression). Knowledge of machine learning techniques (regression, decision trees, random forests, clustering). Skilled in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) for collaborative work. Soft Skills Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving ability. Ability to connect data findings to real-world business outcomes.
