PROJECT BASED (12 Months)

The Accounting Assistant Data Control will support the management and accuracy of organizational data by performing routine data entry, validation, and verification tasks. They assist in maintaining data quality by conducting regular checks to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies. The assistant collaborates with various departments to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date, helping to streamline data processing workflows. By maintaining organized and accurate data records, the Data Control Assistant contributes to efficient data operations and supports overall business decision-making.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Contract Adjustments - execute sales contract adjustments in FREBAS facility upon evaluation of all documentary requirements submitted by our internal/external customer for sales contract adjustment in accordance with company's policies or complete approval in case a non-standard request.

  • Validate request details and analyse the request details
  • Verify correctness of the approval of the request
  • Review the attached documents in the ticket request
  • Review the computation of the Total Contract Price, Payment Schedule, and the Net Amount to be transacted with the new approved request
  • Proper implementation of the sales contract adjustment
  • Validation accuracy of the lease property reflected against approval
  • Review of customer ledger and supporting documents for RRT ledger

Job Order Request - assist in the preparation of JO request to CIT for the incident report or request that cannot be done in the system to complete the sales adjustment request.

  • Assist in the validation and preparation of ticket request
  • Ensuring that every request is with complete supporting documents
  • Review and validate the prepared JO if it is properly filled then facilitate the additional adjustment in the system to finally complete the adjustment

Journal Voucher Entry - aid in the preparation of JV entry in SAP to correct the sales contract adjustment made in FREBAS by reviewing and attaching the related GL.

  • Assist in the extraction of data needed to identify the property set up
  • Assist in reconciling accounts and validate entries against source documents
  • Assist in the preparation of journal voucher entry in SAP

Application of Returned Checks - assist in the processing of re-application of the ledger with OR(s) that was declared by the Treasury as returned/cancelled check.

  • Assist in the generation of the list of accounts with returned checks from FREBAS / FREBAS EWBC
  • Assist in processing the re-application of returned checks in the system
  • Emailed the list of accounts with returned checks to the commission group
  • Emailed Treasury Department on the account with returned checks marked as beyond seven days

General Ledger Clean-up - aid to ensure that the assigned GL has zero balance.

  • Daily clean-up of assigned GL
  • Assist in the extraction of data needed in the review for those accounts with variance

Facility Enhancement Testing - supportive role in system enhancement initiatives by ensuring that data inputs and outputs are accurate and reliable throughout system upgrades or implementations.

  • Assist in testing new or updated data management systems by validating data integrity, identifying discrepancies, and reporting any data-related issues to the IT team.
  • Assist in maintaining organized and clean datasets.
  • Participate in the system enhancement testing prior to the implementation

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy
  • Person with integrity
  • Intermediate knowledge on MS Office application (MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills, both on numerical and logical situations
  • Good written and oral communication skills, both in English and Filipino
  • High sense of responsibility and urgency in dealing with external and internal clients
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Willing to render overtime if necessary
  • With sense of Good Customer Service
  • Knowledgeable in SAP facility
